Our Story
Hi, my name is Ashley.
This website was born from a dream and a deep reverence for Montepulciano’s timeless charm. As a former Kennesaw State University study abroad student who once wandered these streets in awe, my goal was to buy and create a space that honors the connection between learning, legacy, and place.
Montepulciano acts as a bridge between the past and the present—a cozy spot for travelers looking not just to relax, but to find inspiration. Whether you're an explorer yourself, a scholar revisiting history, or just someone looking for a meaningful getaway, I hope this place resonates with you as it does me.
Our Why
From a young age, I was very lucky to have worldwide travel checked off my bucket list. In a sense, my own travel muses, my grandparents, were a huge inspiration and strong encouragers of my love of travel. My grandfather was a writer, and my grandmother was a teacher. As a result, my DNA is utterly steeped in a love of the written word and its history.
My husband Oscar and I believe in travel that transforms, in places that teach, and in honoring both the past and the present. We believe travel invites us to step outside our routines, see the world with fresh eyes, and uncover wisdom in unexpected places.
